Corey is a third-generation musician\, born and raised in the foothills of the Cumberland Plateau in East Tennessee. Since he was young\, his desire has been to bring ‘old style’ country music back to life and perform on the Grand Ole Opry stage like his grandfather before him. \nCorey began singing for audiences at five years old and began dabbling with writing in his early teens. In 2003\, he won an international singing contest held at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis and by 2010 he was traveling around the country\, performing with various gospel artists. A few years later\, he signed his first record deal.
