Welcome to STAAR

STAAR, Southern Tennessee Arts Repertory, is a 501c3 organization that for more than two decades has brought the arts to Giles County, Tennessee, and surrounding communities in South Central Tennessee and North Alabama. STAAR engages in a number of initiatives with two primary purposes – to entertain and to educate.

STAAR Theatre presents theatrical productions, both dramatic and musical, throughout the year and hosts traveling shows of all types from musicians to magicians. Special events by STAAR include murder mystery dinners, holiday events and other engaging activities.

STAAR Studio offers classes in performing, visual and cultural arts to adults, teens, youth and children. Class options include dance, music, voice, choir, drama, songwriting, quilting and more.

Our beautiful and comfortable new seating now accommodates 140 patrons per performance.
