Roni McAlexander Curry
I retired from 25 years in the banking industry in June 2021. I am enjoying my retirement but started working part time in a local quilt shop. I’ve been sewing since I was 10 years old, made my first quilt at 16 and have made approximately 70 quilts in the last 10 years. I started teaching Quilting in 2013 and founded the Quirky Quilter ‘s of Pulaski, a quilting club of about 25 members. My history in the needle/fabric arts includes teaching Smocking and Heirloom Sewing for eight years in Columbia Tennessee, teaching Quilting since 2013 and teaching a few simple painting classes. I am a graduate of Giles County High School, Martin Methodist Junior College and Memphis State University with a bachelors degree in Retail Merchandising, with a Minor in Art. I love making quilts! My special interests in the quilt world are Foundation Paper Piecing and Fabric Collage.
