STAAR Studio, an educational initiative of STAAR, is now registering students for its summer performing arts classes at STAAR Theatre, 105 N. First St., Pulaski. This summer’s classes include Hip Hop with instructor Chandler Nicholson and Ballet, Tap and Musical Theatre Dance with instructor Tala Gvozdas.
Hip Hop classes begin June 8 and will meet for a six-week term with a break during the week of June 29. Tuition is $75, with a $5 sibling discount. Students should wear dance shoes or close-toed sneakers. There is no dress code.
Ballet, Tap and Musical Theatre Dance classes begin June 1 and will meet for a six-week term. Tuition is $75 for the first class for one term and $25 for each additional class. Ballet students should wear ballet shoes in any color. Tap students should wear tap shoes in any color and style. Musical Theatre Dance students may wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes or close-toed sneakers. There is no dress code.

Throughout the year STAAR Studio offers classes in the performing arts, visual arts and cultural arts for both children and adults. The STAAR Studio Performing Arts educational series includes acting, ballet, tap, theater dance, voice technique and choir, improv, hip hop dance, line dancing and more, all taught by instructors with years of experience in their fields.
