STAAR Theatre at Antoinette Hall is inviting the community to step into the spotlight this Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, with its campaign, “Your Gift Takes Center Stage!” The nonprofit arts organization has set a goal to raise $20,000 to cover production costs for its exciting 2025 season.

For more than 20 years, STAAR Theatre has inspired and entertained audiences in Giles County and beyond. In 2024 alone, the organization produced beloved shows such as Grease and Frozen Jr., which drew more than 1,000 volunteers, actors and creative contributors. These productions required significant investment, with costs totaling more than $22,000 for the year.

With 2025 on the horizon, STAAR Theatre is calling on supporters to help fund upcoming productions. Every donation makes a difference:

  • $10 costumes a cast member.
  • $20 paints a scene.
  • $30 rents scripts.
  • $50 makes a costume sparkle.
  • $75 adds music.
  • $100 lights the stage.
  • $250 choreograph a production.

For larger contributions, donors can support season-long patronage through program ads, sponsorships or even become a Tony Award-level donor.

“We are so proud of what we accomplished in 2024, and we want to continue bringing amazing shows to our community in 2025,” said Tammy Pierchoski, STAAR Theatre’s executive director. “The arts are a vital part of our lives, and we couldn’t do it without the support of generous donors like you.”

The campaign runs until 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 3. Donations can be made HERE.
